Description
A group of 3 hand applique and reverse appliqué construction throughout, each worked in three layers.
Panama (Guna Yala), circa 1960s, 12.5 x 15.5
Mirrored organic curvilinear design with bilateral symmetry, featuring interlocking channels outlined in yellow and orange on a red ground with a black reverse. Colorful triangular accent motifs in the corners and at center reflect traditional Guna abstract patterning.
Panama (Guna Yala), circa 1960s, 14 x 18.5 inches
Four-lobed composition connected by a central cruciform element, worked on a red ground with green channel outlining and multicolored embroidered dash accents. The radially balanced layout with concentric oval forms at each quadrant is characteristic of classic Guna abstract design.

Mirrored geometric maze and spiral key pattern with green channel outlining on a red ground, accented with orange embroidered dashes. The interlocking rectilinear spirals demonstrate a traditional Guna labyrinth motif with strong bilateral symmetry.

Wear, fading, discoloration, spots, loose applique and a hole. In house Flat Rate US Shipping of $15 for 1 -10 molas, $5 each additional 10 molas. Insurance is additional and required.
