Dana Balsamo is owner and auctioneer at Dana Auctions LLC.
She is licensed in PA and KY. Her passion is antique and vintage quilts and is an AQS Certified Quilt Instructor. She is active in the NAA, PAA, and NJSSA. She is also a supporter of the American Quilt Study group. She has participated as a Textile Appraiser for Season 29 of the Antiques Roadshow in Urbandale, IA, Season 30 in Boothbay, ME, and Season 31 in Tucson, AZ. When she isn’t at the auction house, Dana enjoys time with her husband, Joe, in their Pocono Mountains lake house, taking beach vacations, and shopping. With her daughters now off on their own, she fills the home with dogs: Layla (6 yo Pitbull/Jack Russell), and Indigo (Bullmastiff puppy, see below).

She completed the Auctioneering Certification Program at Reading Area Community College in 2021 and joined Dana Auctions shortly after earning her license. She is an active member of the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association (PAA) and the New Jersey State Society of Auctioneers (NJSSA). She also works part-time at the National Powersports Auction in Bristol, PA. A lifelong auction enthusiast, she has an interest in not only vintage textiles, but also in antique cameras and vintage toys, including Breyer horses.
Meghan Collins, a cataloger/photographer for Dana Auctions
Has been part of the team since September of 2023. As a graduate of Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, Meghan has a B.S in Fashion Design and a background in Children’s wear design. Her strong aesthetic for style lends a creative touch to her photography. In her spare time, Meghan enjoys reading and snowboarding, as well as, spending time with her family and dog, Pepper.

I recently graduated from New Jersey City University with a Bachelor’s in National Security. I spend most of my free time playing guitar and drums to songs I love, with the rest of it is spent tinkering with computers and playing video games.
Indigo is the Dana Auctions mascot. Works security and pest control.
She was adopted at 8.5 weeks old and is a fast learner. She roams the warehouse for head scratches and picks up bits of paper and fabric to trade for treats. She spends most of her day supervising Dana from her chair or bed, and begging for treats. Her favorite toy is her Wubba. “Indi” loves any textile with threads attached that she can chase.
