Description
Antique c1870 Album Block Quilt in oxblood red, cheddar, and an overdyed green print. It measures 78 by 90. It is comprised of 20 blocks, 10 by 10 inches, set on point, and staggered, 2 by 10, with a 4.5 inch green print Streak of Lightning sashing. There is a 1.75 inch green print and solid cheddar sawtooth inner border and a 5.5 inch green print outer border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a fabulous madder paisley stripe print reverse. The edge is finished with an applied solid cheddar binding. There is a sleeve on the reverse for hanging.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with a few small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
