Description
Included is a dress from the 1920s which is possibly a Vionnet dress and two silk shirts. The dress is orange and sleeveless with heavy and intricate beadwork. The beads are predominately in white with blue, pink, green and yellow popping up as supporting colors. There are snap buttons and hook and eye closure which on the sides of the dress. The sides of the dress opens up freely though there may have been fastens or buttons to keep it securely shut. The collar is intricately beaded and the dress is made from silk. There are loose beads and some holes. It is still a marvel to look upon. Laid flat, Measurements: Length: 39″ and Shoulders: 21″. Also included are two crepe shirts /articles of clothing. They are both made from a cream silk and have floral embroidery. These pieces can be used more for upcycling rather than wearing. They can additionally be used for research purposes. This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.
