Description
Featured is an antique Victorian dress that is incredibly fragile. It has a pink silk satin trim on the sleeves and along the waist. Hook and eye closures along the bust with a flower on the waist. Gold toned beading is along the bodice with a piece that fell off included. The dress has a layer of machine lace with gold/bronze decorations. There is beading in white as well and it creates geometrics and florals. The inner layer is a white cotton which is still mainly securely put together. The length of the dress is 47″ while the other aspects are hard to accurately measure due to the unsteady shape of the dress. It is a valuable dress for research and upcycling. Many holes, loose beads, and shedding silk on the dress. This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.
