Description
Vintage c1940 Dogwood Quilt – Mountain Mist made by Genevieve Odom of Fayette County, PA, measuring 79×92″. Medallion style trellis of dogwood flowers in the center field with branches of dogwood flowers along the top and bottom, and sprigs along the sides, all on a green ground. There is a 1.5″ solid brown border. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an pale solid green reverse. The edge is finished with an applied brown binding.
