Description
Vintage c1930 New York Beauty Quilt made by Genevieve Odom of Fayette County, PA, measuring 78×80″. 4 Squares with fans motifs in each corner, 20×20″, are set on point with partial block setting triangle blocks, and separated by a pieced double dogtooth orange print and off white sashing 6″ wide, with Lemoyne Star cornerstones. There is a 3″ solid yellow border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied orange binding.
