Description
Vintage c1940 Martha’s Vineyard Quilt – Mountain Mist made by Genevieve Odom of Fayette County, PA, measuring 75×92″. It is comprised of 12 blocks, 17×17″, set straight, 3 by 4, with 6 appliqued blocks and 6 alternating solid white squares. There is a 13″ grape vine with leaves and grapes appliqued border. it is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. Think cotton batting and a lavender reverse. The edge is finished with an applied lavender binding.
