Description
Antique c1900 Lady Finger Quilt measuring 65 by 76 inches. It is comprised of 6 blocks, 13.5 by 13.5, set straight, 2 by 3, with the 5 petal appliqué additions are incorporated in the sashing. The petal elements are repeated in the center of the quilt, and repeated in the swag border, 7 inches wide. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. It is in fair condition with several discolorations and the fugitive green, now tan, is starting to disintegrate. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
