Description
Antique c1890 Flying Geese Quilt measuring 85 by 70 inches. It is comprised of 4 in half inch wide bars of flying geese set diagonally with alternating 5 inch wide red print bars. There is a 3 inch triple border of white solid, red prints, and white solid along 3 sides. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished along 3 sides with an applied pink print binding and along the final side a. Brown print binding. It is in fair condition with minor edge wear fabric deterioration, and toning marks, and other small discolorations/ If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
