Description
Antique c1890 Carpenters Star Quilt measuring 65 by 80 inches. Comprised of 30 blocks, 10 by 10 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with 2.5 inch stripe and moire print sashing and border. It is hand and machine pieced, hand quilted. Thick cotton batting and an indigo print reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. It is quilted in a Baptist fan motif. It is in good condition with several yellow discolorations. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
