Description
Antique c1900 Square in a Square Quilt, actually a variation of an Unnamed block #2442 in Brackman’s. it measures 70 by 72 inches. Comprised of 25 blocks, 9.5 by 9.5 inches, set on point, 5 by 5, with pink shirting print alternating setting squares and triangles. There is a one inch solid red inner border and a 2.5 inch shirting outer border, using multiple prints. It is machine pieced, and quilted. Thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied pink fabric binding, by machine. It is in good condition with a few yellow spots. measuring If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
