Description
Group includes a c1900 scrappy quilt tops arrange in vertical bars with various sized rectangles, measuring 61 by 86 inches. It is hand pieced and hand tied with green embroidery floss. Medium loft cotton batting and a blue 1930s feed sack print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in good condition with a few small marks and some residue left from a label. Has a really nice variety of indigos, shirtings, brown prints, stripes and plaids. Along with a c1880 Tumbling Blocks quilt measuring 82 by 76 inches. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Very thin cotton batting and a brown paisley print reverse. The edge is finished with a brown applied binding, by machine. Another great scrappy quilt with a variety of browns, Dolly Varden prints, plaids, stripes and more. In fair condition with some fabrics deteriorating along the edges.In house Flat Rate Shipping of $35 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
