Description
Antique c1840 LeMoyne Star Quilt measuring 106 by 102 inches. It is comprised of 64 blocks, 9 by 9 inches, set on point, 8 by 8, with solid off white setting squares and triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is a thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a 4 inch ecru cotton trim, applied by hand. It is in fair condition with a large spot in the center, overall toning, other small spots, fabric deterioration, and a small area of fringe is missing. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
