Description
Antique c1890 Broken Dishes Quilt measuring 63 by 73 inches. It is comprised of 1.5 inch half square triangles with color and fabric placement creating a block like arrangement, with the solid orange and green squares creating a grid sashing. There is a 5.5 inch double pink border. It is hand and machine pieced, hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a chrome yellow print reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back, and applied by hand. It is in good condition with just a few small spots. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
