Description
c1950 Striped Jacket and Skirt Set. The lot includes 1 vintage c1950 wool blend matching jacket and skirt set by Irene (Irene of Hollywood) for Bullocks-Wilshire featuring a striped fabric in shades of beige, yellow, and grey The jacket has grey button closures down the front and a pink rayon lining. The skirt has a side nylon sip closure and is lined in a light blue acetate. Laying flat the jacket measures: bust: 21”, waist: 20”, sleeve: 23”, length: 27”. The skirt measures: waist: 16.5”, hips: 20”, length: 28.5”. The set is in fair condition with a few small spots on the jacket and the bottom hem of the skirt has come unsewn, there are also several areas near the waistband where the seams are coming unsewn.
