c1950 Wool Plaid Suit and More. The lot includes 1 vintage ladies plaid suit by Mainbocher Inc. featuring a shell made of blue/grey wool plaid, a fitted jacket with covered button closures, and a light blue rayon lining, and a matching skirt with a side metal zip closure. In fair condition with 1 unsewn button on the jacket(included) and several areas where the lining is coming unsewn. Also included is a matching short sleeve blue rayon blouse by Mainboucher Inc. featuring a high round neckline, a cross design at the bust with trapunto accents, and a zip closure at the back. In fair/poor condition with heavy water stains. There is also an interchangeable vintage short sleeve grey cashmere sweater by Rand Cashmeres featuring a mock turtleneck neckline, an added matching blue/grey wool plaid bow, and a back metal zip closure. In fair condition with slight toning. There is also a matching halo style hat made of blue velvet and the same blue and grey wool plaid. In fair condition with several split seams. Laying flat the jacket measures: bust: 18”, waist: 17”, sleeve: 20.5”, length: 21”. The skirt measures: waist: 13”, hips: 19.5”, length: 26.5”. The blue blouse measures: bust: 18”, waist: 15”, length: 21.5”. The cashmere sweater measures: bust: 16.5”, waist: 11”, length” 20”. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
