Description
Antique c1900 Rocky Road to Kansas Comfort Quilt measuring 64×70″. It is comprised of 16 blocks, about 15 by 15 inches, set straight, 4 by 4, with 4 half blocks along the top. The setting diamonds are a wonderful neon print. It is hand pieced and hand tied in a salmon, possibly Congo red, Perl cotton thread. There is thick cotton batting and a woven plaid reverse, that may be about 20 years newer. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, and applied by hand. It is in good condition with several spots. From an Alexandria, VA collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
