Description
Vintage c1930s 9 Patch Quilt measuring 73×81″. It is comprised of 288 blocks, 4.5 by 4.5 inches, set straight, 16 by 18, with 144 9 patch blocks and 144 alternating red floral print alternating squares. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished in a red floral print applied binding. It is in very good condition with no issues noted. The quilting is very nice on this quilt. Also, definitely some earlier fabrics in the quilt. From an Alexandria, VA collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
