Vintage c1930 Double Wedding Ring Quilt with a pink solid appliqued Sawtooth Edge measuring 67×83″, Comprised of 20 interlocking rings, 20″ in diameter, set straight, 4 by 5/ It is hand pieced, hand quilted, and hand appliqued. There is think cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. It is in very good condition with only small discolorations. There is a sleeve along the top back edge for hanging. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
