1 Vintage Portfolio of Persian and Indian Textile Photographs and more. Designer Scrapbooks for Textile and Embroidery Design Inspiration 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, Mid Century Modern for Textile Design Inspiration, Textile and Embroidery Design. The group includes 1 vintage (possibly c1940’s) portfolio featuring black and white photographs of various Persian and Indian textiles, unfortunately the copyright information has been cut out so the author and year are unknown. Also included are 6 half pages and 1 full 2 page color image from a Russian book on ethnic rugs. The group is in fair condition with the portfolio having a broken binding and a stained and worn front/back cover. The loose pages from the Russian book are in good condition. Please see the photos. This collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
