Pair of 2 Self Assembled Scrap Books For Textile Inspiration- German Medieval and more. Designer Scrapbooks for Textile and Embroidery Design Inspiration 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, Mid Century Modern for Textile Design Inspiration, Textile and Embroidery Design. The pairing includes 2 self assembled scrap books compiled for textile inspiration and featuring 1 scrap book with approximately 46 clippings of colored medieval German images cut from a book, colored 19th century pastoral drawings, a cabinet card, and early 20th and mid 20th century greeting cards. As well as 1 scrap book featuring approximately 36 pages of mid 20th century ladies advertisements, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers, black and white images of textiles cut from books, musical instruments, some hand traced/drawn images, buildings, and more. The books are in good/fair condition with age related toning to some of the images. This collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
