Vividly worked mola panel featuring two central framed cartouches, each enclosing a stylized scarab beetle rendered in contrasting colorways — one outlined in green, one in orange — with embroidered dot and dash detailing on the bodies. Four appliquéd butterflies occupy the corners, each in a distinct color: orange, white, blue, and yellow, with multicolor embroidered wing patterning. Diagonal crossed-staff motifs animate the intervening ground. The composition is unified by a dense crimson and pink ground worked in horizontal reverse-appliqué channels throughout. Executed in three layers of red, pink, black, orange, green, yellow, blue, and white cotton, with applied appliqué figures and embroidered surface detail.
