Description
Contemporary traditional Nigerian men’s agbada in purple. It features a buba or a short sleeve tunic, matching sokoto or trousers, and a scarf. The pieces are made from super bazin riche which is a premium, high quality cotton damask fabric that is renowned in West Africa. The outfit features gold embroidery along the collar, hem of the trousers, and along the scarf. On the scarf, the embroidery is in wave motions along the edges and a sun figure in the center. The repeating damask pattern on all pieces feature highly decorated birds. On the collar of the tunic, there are large, ornate teardrop or paisley shaped embroidery with gold thread with tiny flower or star like patterns in between. Each piece is in good condition but there are some small, faint spots on the tunic. The collar has a geometric shape. Laid flat: Shoulders: 23″, Length: 43″, and Chest: 47.5″. The trousers, laid flat: Length: 38″ and Waist: 26″. The scarf is 15.5″48.5″. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.
