Description
Collection of Vintage Linen Towels and More. There are 22 pieces of vintage linen towels and more that are included in this lot. There is a set of 2 linen pillowcases with intricate lace weaving near the opening. The lace is stitched onto the fabric and it displays geometric and floral shapes. Each pillowcase is in fair/poor condition with toning, discoloration, spots, and storage lines. There is a decorative linen towel that is included with a large portion that is made from lace with tassels. The filet lace displays birds perched on a branch with flowers and leaves surrounding them on a row. Knitted lace is featured at the bottom and there is some discoloration and toning that is present on the piece alongside some small holes. There are two linen damask pieces with CM monogrammed on them with scalloped edges. There are crests and other motifs that are present on the two pieces. Toning and spotting is present. There are 11 handkerchiefs and small towels that feature embroidery of dogs, flowers, and more on them. The pieces have different colors with pink, blue, and yellow being included alongside the white. There are several damask pieces with fringe on the ends and motifs of flowers, leaves, running people, polka dots, and more. Two more towels have embroidered monograms on them and another piece has colorful thread. The last piece included is a linen damask towel with a red and black border that has flowers and geometric shapes. Hand embroidery is featured often alongside drawn work.
