Description
Group of Vintage Linen Placemats, Napkins, and Tablecloths. The lot features an assortment of vintage linen tablecloths, placemats, and napkins in pink and white with a variety of designs. There are 5 white linen placemats that are not in a set. Each piece has a half circle cut out of their sides and features cutwork, embroidery, and decorative trim. Bouquets of flowers are on the edges, one piece has the words Hot Rolls embroidered on it, and there are a few small spots on the pieces. Included as well is a vintage dinner roll warmer with pockets to place bread items. There are ties on the edges to secure this piece around a basket or a dish. It has a lace top and linen bottom and the piece is in good condition. There is a set with 2 napkins and 5 placemats or napkins included. They are made from pure linen and they are pink with white lace embroidery on the edges that have a human figure with their hands on their hips. Cutwork, hemstitching, and other works are demonstrated. These pieces are hand embroidered and have a tag that states so. They are in good condition. There is a pink linen tablecloth that measures 35″x35″ and it has white lace corners and lace at the center of the piece. It is in good condition. The last piece that is included is a pale pink linen tablecloth with a hemstitched edge that features a white lace trim in two tiers with the outer tier having a scalloped edge. There are pale pink embroidered dots on the trim as well. The piece measures 38″x 38″ with a 2″ trim and it is in good condition with some small spots. Battenburg and figural lace are used.
