Description
Antique c1860 Pinwheel Quilt measuring 87 by 90 inches. It is comprised of 231 pinwheel blocks, 6 by 6 inches, set on point and staggered, 11 by 11. There are partial blocks used as setting triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a brown print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, and applied by hand. It is in fair condition with several brown fabrics deteriorating, in about 15 blocks. There is a sleeve on the reverse along the top for hanging. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
