Description
Ethnic Panels and Wrap. The lot consists of two panels and a wrap from India and neighboring areas. Featured are two panels with silk embroidery that measures 13″x39″ and 22″x22″ and there is a handwoven silk wrap from India that measures 22.5″x70″ with a 3″ fringe. The square panel has a Persian influence to it with the florals and it features a pink border with geometrics. The piece is in good/fair condition with fading present and toning. Additionally, there is a long panel that features pink, blue, white, and gold threading with florals as the pattern. The pink has faded away alongside the blue and it is only the prominent gold threads that are left in a vibrant state. It is in fair condition as there is major fading in several areas but the construction is still firmly together. The silk wrap is featured as well with elephants, zebras, tigers, and other animals depicted on the blue background with gold thread creating details. A nature background is depicted with animals throughout the body. It is in good condition. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
