Ethnic Panels and More. The lot consists of a patch, four panels, and an eyeglass case. Featured are three Mola Panels, a Navajo Beaded Eyeglass Case, a Mola Patch, and a Paj Ntaub Panel. These pieces were made by the Guna people of Panama, Hmong people of Southeast Asia, and the Navajo in the southwest of the US. The Hmong Paj Ntaub Panel measures 5″x5.5″ and it translates to flower cloth. It features vibrant cross stitch embroidery and reverse applique. It features symbolic and geometric patterns on the front and the back displays a floral pattern with branches. Green and yellow borders separate the embroidery from the blue frame and it is in good condition. The Mola Patch has an applique tiger with color accents and it measures 3.25″x3.5″. It is in good condition. The Navajo Beaded Eyeglass Case is made primarily from white beads with blue, green, red, and yellow incorporated as well. There is a geometric bird encased by a red diamond with several borders. The back of the case is made from leather and it measures 3″x6.5″. It is in good condition. There are three Mola Panels with the following measurements: 7.5″x8.75″, 10.25″x14.25″, and 14.25″x19″. On the medium sized piece, there is a note attached stating that it was handmade inside of the Panama Canal Rainforest. The blue piece features a turtle with applique colors, the medium piece has flowers with two faces applied on them alongside vibrant borders for the leaves, and the last panel is of geometric shapes that could possibly be architectural.
