Description
Antique Garden Maze Quilt with a c1850 top and 1930s reverse. Measures 82 by 84 inches. Comprised of 81 4 inch light brown print squares, surrounded by a 3.75 by 8 inch elongated hexagon sashing. Each piece is framed in a .75 inch light print. Thin cotton batting and a pink and blue pastel print reverse. The edge is finished with the pastel print applied binding. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. It is in fair condition with several spots and discolorations, fading, split fabrics and several fabrics have been restored conserved with crepoline or netting. Very graphic and well-planned quilt with some amazing fabrics. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
