Description
Framed antique folding fan featuring decorative gold and metallic spangles, gold fabric applique, delicately carved bone guards and ribs with intricate inlay, mother of pearl rivet, and a gold-toned loop. The piece shows some wear and discoloration on guards and ribs, with minor tears in the gold applique fabric. Measures 8″ x 10 1/2″. Displayed in a gold-toned frame with a label from J.J. Gillespie Company, Fine Art Galleries, Pittsburgh. Frame measures 12 1/2″ x 14 1/4″ x 2 1/4″. Please see the photos for details. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
