2 Vintage c1940s-50s Quilts. Includes a 1950s alternating nine-patch/solid square quilt comfort, with 5.25″ single brown floral print squares alternating with colorful nine-patch squares, brown floral sashing, black floral print backing brought to the front, hand pieced, no batting, no quilting, measuring 54″ x 65″, in good condition. Also includes a small c1940s quilt with both Snowball/ Robbing Peter to Pay Paul and Corn & Beans squares, a green print sashing with brown print and floral print setting squares, a green floral back, hand pieced, hand quilted, thin cotton batting, measuring 37″ x 62″, probably cut down from a larger quilt, in good condition with some fading, stains and fraying to the corners. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In overall good condition minor spots and/or discolorations, please see the photographs for imperfections.
