Description
Vintage c1950 Snowball Quilt measuring 74×78″. It is comprised of 696 octagon shaped blocks, 2.75 by 2.75 inches, set straight, 24 by 29 inches, with 1/2 inch blue border. The octagons are set with off white on point squares. It is hand and machine pieced, hand quilted. Medium loft cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in very good condition with only very minor small spots. Lots of feedsack prints in this quilt!
