Description
Vintage c1940 Stylized Flower Quilt measuring 67×79″. Medallion style with appliqued stylized floral block in the center measuring 32.5 by 32.5, set on point, with 5.5 inch solid pink frame with flower applique corners. It is set inside a 60 by 60 square with 4.5 solid pink frame, with large flowers in the white triangle corners. There is a solid white outer border 4-8.5 inches wide. It is hand and machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with and applied white binding, by machine. It is in good condition with a few small spots. From an Alexandria, VA collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
