Description
Antique Rocky Road to Kansas Contained Crazy Comfort Quilt measuring 68×71″. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 12.5 by 12.5 inches. Set straight 5 by 5. It is hand pieced, hand embroidered, and hand tied in blue Perl cotton thread. There is thick cotton batting and a blue floral cheater print reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by hand. It is in fair condition with 2 small moth holes, 2 fabrics deteriorating and several ties missing. The fabrics within the block are crazy patchwork pieced and embroidered like a crazy like a Victorian crazy quilt style. Fabrics include a variety of wools, cotton, velvet and more.
