Description
Vintage c1940 Clamshell Quilt measuring 65×83″. It is comprised of 41 rows of 3.5″ clamshell blocks, with 5″ vertical pink solid borders. It is hand pieced and hand appliqued. Thick cotton batting and a muslin reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in good condition with minor edge wear and several small scattered spots.
