Group of 5 Mini Doll Quilts c1980-2000. The group includes 5 small quilts from the collection of Bobbie Aug. Featuring 1 hand quilted Amish style small quilt featuring hand quilted feather, flower, cable knit, and hanging grid patterns in shades of red, green, mauve, and plum with a hand finished edge and poly batting. It measures 27.5” x 28 1/4”. 1 small Hexagon Star quilt from 4/6/1990 and made by Fran Ozment. Featuring very small mand appliqued hexagons in a mix of printed cottons with a hand quilted hanging grid border with a floral cotton back with a matching sleeve for hanging and hand finished edges. It measures 15.5” x 18” and is in good condition. 1 applique Flower Pot with Birds quilt made in June 1995 by Stacie Seager, Scottsdale, AZ for the NQA small quilt auction. With hand appliqued blue birds and floral stems in a vase with a hand quilted ground in a hanging grid pattern. It has a hand-finished edge and measures 17 1/4” x 17.5” and is in good condition. 1 small Wedding Ring quilt featuring 4 double wedding rings in a mix of green and pink cotton on a white cotton ground. It is machine appliqued and machine quilted in heart motifs with a thin cotton batting. It measures 28.5” x 28 3/4” long and has a machine-finished edge. It is in good condition. 1 miniature Wedding Ring quilt made by Bobbie Fiser in Paducah, Kentucky. Featuring colorful printed cotton rings on a white cotton ground. The quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted. It has a thin cotton batting and a hand finished edge with a plain white cotton backing. It measures 19” x 24” and is signed by Bobbie Aug. In good condition. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
