Description
Vintage c1940 Mosaic Quilt measuring 64 by 83 inches. It is comprised of 30 blocks, 9 by 9 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with 4.5 inch vertical feed sack print sashing and 3 inch horizontal pink and white gingham sashing. There is a 5.5 inch pink and white gingham border along the top and bottom. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted in a Baptist fan motif. Medium loft cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by machine.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with overall toning, several spots, and minor fabric deterioration. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
