Description
Vintage c1940s String Pieced Snowball Quilt measuring 71 by 83 inches. It is comprised of 36 white circles, 8.5 inches in diameter, set straight and staggered 4 by 9, with string pieced bow tie shapes separating them. It is hand pieced and hand quilted in a Baptist fan motif. Medium loft cotton batting and a solid purple reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, by machine.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with several spots and fading on the reverse and 2 very small holes by an edge. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
