Description
Includes an antique 1926 Hand Embroidered Summer Spread or Coverlet, 82 by 88 inches. It is machine pieced, and hand embroidered. There is no batting but there is a white reverse. Motifs include animals, figures, fruit and many designs possibly from coloring books. There are initials and the date 1926 embroidered on the bottom. A 1940s 9 patch quilt, 48 by 63 inches. Machine pieced and hand quilted in Baptist Fan design.
Condition report:
The hand embroidered coverlet is in good condition with a large spot on the bottom and other small spots. The 9 patch quilt is in poor condition with spots, fading, and tears. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
