Description
Antique c1870 On Point 9 Patch Quilt with double Pink and double Blue fabrics. It measures 76 by 76 inches. It is comprised of 36 9 patch blocks, 8 by 8 inches, set on point, 6 by 6, with chrome yellow print setting squares and triangles. There is a 5.5 inch double blue, or Lancaster blue, print border. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a lovely Dolly Varden stripe print reverse. The edge is finished with the front turned to the back and applied by hand.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with only a few small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
