Panama (Guna Yala), circa 1960s–1970s

Reverse appliqué, appliqué, and hand-embroidered mola panel featuring four rounded medallions, each enclosing a pair of stylized figures seated in a boat with polychrome lettering identifying names — “CHAVAS,” “ROSITP,” “ARBASI,” and “VOIAZI” — executed in four layers of red, black, blue, and pink cotton. Each medallion is framed by concentric bands with sawtooth borders in yellow and black. Multicolored appliqué and embroidered detail throughout in green, pink, purple, teal, and white. Retains rickrack trim at top edge and pleated blue cotton ruffle at lower hem from original blouse construction.
