Description
Antique c1920 Wool Roman Stripe Quilt measuring 63 by 68 inches. It is comprised of 84 blocks, 7 inches wide and varying in height from 3.5 inches to 8 inches. It is hand pieced, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Many of the seams are hand embroidered in Crazy Quilt motif stitches. Thick cotton batting and a lovely pink Rose on blue cotton furnishing fabric reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, by hand. In the center is hand embroidered the word Bible and the year 1920. The quilt uses a variety of fabrics including cotton, satin, wool, and many more.
Condition report:
Good condition with a few small holes, a seam coming undone, and minor wear along an edge. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $35 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
