Description
Vintage c1940s Patriotic Stars Quilt measuring 78 by 98 inches. The center field has scattered 51 yellow hand appliquéd 5 point stars scattered in the center field surrounded by a 3.5″ red, white, and blue triple strippy inner border. There is a 16 1/2 inch wide vertical border along the sides and a 6.5 horizontal border along the bottom and a 3 inch red, white, and blue triple strippy outer border along all 4 sides. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, by hand.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with just minor discoloration from threads peeking through under the top and minor edge wear. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
