Description
Vintage c1940 Embroidered Basket Quilt measuring 73 by 97 inches. Medallion style center with a hand embroidered basket and purple, yellow, pink flowers, with a pink bow on the handle. It is surrounded by 8 additional embroidered flowers arranged in a rectangular frame with a flower at each corner in the center of each side. With an additional 2 green embroidered flowers along the top where a pillow would be placed underneath. It is hand embroidered and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse the edge is finished with the back brought to the front, applied by hand.
