Description
Antique c1860 Crib Quilt measuring 26×34″. It is comprised of a Poinsettia Block in fugitive purple and overdyed green, with Hovering Hawks blocks above, below, and partial blocks along the sides. It is hand pieced, Paid and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied madder print binding. This quilt was collected in Penngrove, California.
Condition report:
It is in poor condition with overall storage discoloration and the fugitive purple is deteriorating. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
