Description
Vintage 1941 Crown Imperial Poppies Kit Quilt measuring 76×88″, from Herrschner’s catalog. Four large groups of poppies, one on each side of center. Each group has two large blossoms in the center and smaller blooms, leaves and buds. There is a plain border with quilted design. It is hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The scalloped edge is finished with an applied solid red binding. The date 1941 is embroidered along the binding in one corner.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with minor fading and small discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
