Description
2 Vintage c1920 Summer Coverlet Quilts includes a c1920 PA Whig Rose measuring 83×86″. Comprised of 16 blocks, 17×17″, set straight, 4 by 4 with am 8.5″ border with undulating vine and buds. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. No batting, back or quilting, but the edges are finished with a yellow bias tape along the top side. Along with a c1930 Sunbonnet Sue 83×86″. Comprised of 49 blocks, 10.5 by 10.5 inches, set straight, 7 by 7, with half inch pink bias tape outlining each block and finishing the edge. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand embroidered. There is no batting, backing, or quilting.
Condition report:
Both summer coverlet quilts are in very good condition with only minor spots or discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
