Description
Antique 19th century Figured and Fancy Coverlet measuring 72 by 85 inches. Red and blue wool woven with a natural linen. Features urns of fruit and flowers with birds feeding their young in nests. There are pairs of birds and several intersections. There is a double border along the sides with buildings, churches, and Asian pagodas. A single border along the top and a double border along the bottom of more buildings, building with Coppola, and palm trees. It is unsigned and undated. There is a hand stitched seam down the center.
Condition report:
It is in poor condition with wear, spots, tears along the top, and is missing its fringe. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
