Description
2 Vintage c1930 Quilts includes a Scrappy Feedsack Calico Puppy Dog Quilt, 68×82″. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied pink binding. Along with a Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt, also 1930, measuring 71 by 81 inches. Each hexagon measures one inch. Each rosette is comprised of a yellow center, followed by a round of solid, followed by a coordinating print, followed by a round of solid white, and separated by a solid green diamond garden path with triangle intersections. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style.
Condition report:
The Puppy Dog quilt is in poor condition with fading, spots, and several holes. The Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt is also in poor condition with edge wear, spots, fading and discoloration. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
